As a group, we can always accomplish more than individually. Together as a church family there are many enjoyable opportunities for service and personal growth, physically, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually. This children's group provides activities that promote positive social and spiritual growth for pre-K to fourth graders. They meet on Tuesday from 6:30-7:30 pm starting September 9, 2014.
The Jamison Center at 300 Broadway in Jefferson houses a thrift store for clothing and household items, and can help you with specific needs in difficult circumstances. Volunteers are always needed to help with routine activities. The Thrift Store is normally open on Sunday and Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m.
Local members team up with state-wide coordinators to be prepared for relief efforts should a natural disaster strike in or near our area. Training is provided and plans are put in place to meet the needs specific to this area and to help out in other areas nearby.
Families are at the core of the structure of our society and never before have they had greater challenges than today. Whether it is parernting issues or caring for your parents in their later years, dealing with lonliness, grief, anger, or addiction, families are there for each other. This ministry provides educational materials, individual guidance, and group activities to help you with the challenges of daily life.

Do you play an instrument, have a singing talent, or just enjoy the blessing of hearing music? God's gift to mankind through the personal experience of music is available here. Join a group, start a group, or perform it on your own, there are many opportunities to enrich your spiritual experience through music.
Picking up where Adventurers left off, Pathfinders is for 5th to 8th grade children. Activities include skill and knowledge advancement classes, games, group marching, and outdoor activities including local campouts and regional camporees. Meetings are on Thursday nights starting in August.
Prayer is the key in the hand of faith that unlocks the storehouse of heaven! A local church family or student is the Focus of Prayer each week in our worship service, and those coming to our attention that have pressing needs are both prayed for and sent notes of encouragement from the congregation. This is a ministry that everyone can participate in!
Often taken for granted, we benefit from the struggles of those who have gone before us to obtain and maintain religious liberty. The struggle continues even today, and we can have a part in exposing the issues, prompting a response, and keeping an awareness that freedom is still not free. The distribution of publications and efforts to meet the challenges that would reduce religious liberty are some things we can do on this front.
